Tooth Resorption

One of the most prevalent dental problems in cats is tooth resorption.

When the enamel on a cat's teeth deteriorates, it exposes the inner regions of the tooth and produces excruciating nerve pain.

Cats suffering from tooth resorption are frequently in too much pain to eat and may go days without eating, leading to complications such as hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver syndrome).

The treatment for tooth resorption varies from case to case; however, it frequently necessitates the extraction of the damaged tooth.
